Bids are due at UCO Architectural and Engineering Services, Room 117, Facilities Management Building, 100 N. University Drive, Edmond OK no later than November 16th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. To ensure timely delivery of bids, do not send bids through UCO’s mail system. Any bids that are submitted via shipping carrier must be sent to UCO, c/o Lippert Bros., Inc., Construction Manager at 2211 East I-44 Service Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73111 and received prior to 12:00 p.m. on November 16th to be deemed admissible as a bid to be opened at 3:00 p.m. the same day. As stated above, any hand-delivered bids may be delivered to the bid opening location. Said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud following the time stated above. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, before the time set for opening bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The project consists of an approximately 52,201 SF two-story addition to the existing Liberal Arts Building. Plans call for the new structure to have a Precast Concrete Lecture Hall/Storm Shelter, Classrooms, Offices, Café, Atrium and other support spaces. The scope also includes limited remodeling to the existing building and the installation of a new fire suppression system and new main electrical service and gear.
