Port Authority of New York and New Jersey: George Washington Bridge – Cashless Tolling Infrastructure Via Work Order. The work under this contract consists generally of furnishing and installing cashless tolling infrastructure including: drilled shaft foundations; demolition and removal of existing toll booths and plazas; furnishing and installing gantries, equipment shelters, pavement, traffic signage and pavement markings; electrical work; environmental remediation including lead and asbestos abatement; noise control and abatement; maintenance of traffic and related work at the toll plaza areas at the Upper Level and Lower Level of the George Washington Bridge and the vicinities thereof in Fort Lee, New Jersey, all as directed by Engineer and in accordance with Work Order(s) issued by the Engineer.
