New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC): Former Crown Dykman Site Remedial Construction Project. The Project involves the remedial construction of the Former Crown Dykman site, located within the City of Glen Cove, Nassau County, New York. These remedial construction activities include, but are not necessarily limited to, building abatement and demolition; excavation, characterization and disposal of contaminated soils; excavation backfill and passive chemical injection system installation; abandonment of existing monitoring wells; installation of new monitoring and injection wells; construction phase water control and treatment; chemical oxidation at the source area and injection wells; and site restoration. Work is shown and specified in the Contract Drawings and Contract Documents. The estimated range for this work is: $2,500,000 to $5,000,000.
