2013 FLEISH FLUME REBUILD. Complete demolition and rebuilding of approximately 592 linear feet of timber flume for the Fleisch hydroelectric plant owned by the Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA). The flume is located east of the Truckee River approximately 2 miles south of Gold Ranch near the CA/NV state line. Project components include the construction of approximately 400 LF of access road, demolition and disposal of existing flume, grading and placement of stabilized rock base, and construction of new flume with substructure.
