PYRAMID/MCCARRAN BUILDING DEMOLITION PROJECT. The federally-funded work items performed under this contract include: structure abatement and demolition of 21 buildings and out structures along Pyramid Way at McCarran Boulevard. The work includes asbestos abatement, hazardous materials removal, and demolition of the structures including removal of the following: below grade foundations, foundation slabs, basements, surface improvements within defined limits of full acquisition parcels and partial surface improvements on partial acquisition parcels. The work also includes service termination of utilities to their points of connection at the main line for all utilities, removal of the utility facilities outside of building foundations to the main line, disposal of all materials off site, and all required permits for abatement, demolition and utility termination within the designated areas of the . Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost: $250,000 to $750,000. Bids due 10/09
