KEAN UNIVERSITY : Willis Hall Demolition. Project Location: Kean University Main Campus 1000 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. Kean University seeks experienced, qualified bidders for our Willis Hall Demolition Project. The project involves the decontamination and deconstruction of the 1967 Willis Hall building, which has a footprint of approx. 14,500 Square Feet (S.F.) and is a five (5) story reinforced concrete, mortar, and steel structure with a partial basement. The building is to be abated of hazardous materials (incl. asbestos, universal wastes, poly-chlorinated biphenyls, and lead) prior to its controlled demolition; followed by subsequent site restoration. The abatement and decontamination work requires licensure and certifications.
