Rehabilitation of the Main Street Bridge (NHDOT Bridge No. 121/047)The project involves the removal of the entire existing concrete deck and center span/Main St. span steel stringers (superstructure) and removal of the center span/Main St. span concrete pier (substructure) and maintaining existing utilities on the bridge (water, gas, phone), construction of new bridge elements (new center span steel stringers, sliver widening at southwest corner, cast-in-place concrete deck including partial depth concrete deck panels and sidewalks), partial removal and reconstruction of concrete backwalls, partial replacement of bearings, painting of existing and new steel stringers, bridge rail and approach rail, minor earthwork and drainage, approach roadway work and paving, new water line on bridge, landscaping and new lighting. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is between $3,300,000.00 and $3,700,000.00. Prequalification: All Bidders (Prime Contractor or Contractor/Subcontractors Teams) must be listed by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation as prequalified for Bridge Construction.
