Androscoggin Valley Regional Refuse Disposal District: Wastewater Treatment Plant Decommissioning and Lagoon Closure Sealed proposals for the AVRRDD The wastewater treatment plant decommissioning and lagoon closure includes pumping all remaining process water and removing and disposing of all wastewater residuals in the clarifiers and lagoons, demolishing various treatment process infrastructure including lagoon aerators and appurtenances, influent piping, select yard piping, process building, demolishing the emergency lagoon, stormwater management improvements, and regrading the site and other site improvements. Since time is of the essence, the plant decommissioning, lagoon closure, and all other work must be substantially completed within 90 days of the Notice to Proceed. It is anticipated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued and work will commence on or about August 11, 2014. Bids due 07/24
