Water Treatment Plant Improvements. The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following major items: Select demolition of the existing raw water pumps and piping, package plant treatment system and associated filter effluent and filter to waste piping, backwash supply piping and pumps, finished water piping, motor control centers, electrical wiring and plant control system within the existing Main Treatment Building. Site demolition of abandoned buried concrete tanks. Construction of a new Raw Water Pump Station building and intake wet well. Installation of new raw water pumps, solids pumps, sodium permanganate feed system, piping and appurtenances within the Raw Water Pump Station Building. Construction of new Pre-Sedimentation Basins and solids collection equipment. New metal building for housing trailer mounted air compressor. Installation of new raw water piping, package plant treatment plant system, filter effluent pumps and piping, filter to waste piping, backwash supply pumps and piping, and finished water pump and piping within the existing Main Treatment Building. Construction of new UV Disinfection Building and installation of new UV Reactors. Electrical Room Addition to existing Main Treatment Building housing new motor control center and plant control system. Powdered Activated Carbon Feed system and room. New aluminum stairs, handrail, railing, and elevated platforms at the new package treatment plant systems. Buried yard piping and exposed process piping. New package engine generator. Instrumentation, controls and electrical distribution. Site work and grading. Other miscellaneous work as shown on the Drawings Bids due 11/20
