Asbestos Remediation and Demolition - Work requirements are the deconstruction and complete removal of the former Hatchery Office building, located at 111 Elizabeth Street, Tupelo, Mississippi, 38801. The existing one-story, largely masonry, structure is approximately 1,627. Work includes: Removal and proper disposal of remaining trash, debris, equipment and other items found in and around the structure; disconnection and capping of all utilities to the structure; abatement by removal of asbestos containing vinyl floor tiles and transite ceiling panel materials; removal of HVAC furnaces, air, and other remaining equipment; all roofing, trusses, walls, doors, windows, walkways, concrete slabs, foundation, utilities, piping, and other building components and appurtenances. Backfill all holes, trenches and other excavations; fill with 6 inches top soil, compacted and finished graded to drain; and sod with seasonal native grass sod on all disturbed areas.
