PASCAGOULA: PRE-EVENT BIDS FOR ANNUAL DISASTER RECOVERY SERVICES. The scope of the services include clearing debris from public rights-of-way and provide needed supplies for the City recovery workers in the immediate aftermath of a disaster, then transition into removal/disposal mode to load, haul, and dispose of debris from devastated areas in the event of a disaster declaration. This project is intended to have Contractors prequalified and ready to respond as needed to assist the City of Pascagoula with disaster recovery. The Contractor will be required to mobilize equipment and personnel to the City within 48 hours of landfall of a hurricane or other declared disaster and be ready to immediately begin clearing public rights-of-way and providing needed supplies. The work in Bid Schedule #1 may include, but is not be limited to: vegetative, construction, demolition, asbestos, appliance, and e-waste debris removal; hazardous tree, limb, and stump removal; vehicle/mobile structure towing and disposal/ reconciliation; boat towing and disposal/reconciliation; and sand reclamation. The work in Bid Schedule #2 may include, but is not limited to: providing ice; food; water; generators; generator assistance; portable buildings and storage containers; heavy equipment; and other miscellaneous equipment for recovery efforts. Upon mutual agreement, additional pay items may be added by Change Order if needed
