DIAMONDHEAD WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT: . The Diamondhead WWTP Project requires the successful Bidder to construct a new 1.25 million gallon per day (MGD) wastewater treatment plant as instructed in the Drawings, Specifications and any addendums issued during the bidding phase. This work includes but is not limited to: providing all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct temporary facilities, site clearing and grubbing, site excavation, fill, grading and erosion control, installation of piles, headworks structure consisting of fine screens and grit removal system, two aeration basins, a final clarifier splitter box, two final clarifiers, ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system, cascade aeration system, final effluent pump station, lab/admin/sludge processing building, plant drainage pump station, sludge drying beds, aerobic digesters, return/waste activated sludge pump station, blower pad with aeration blowers, roadways/sidewalks, utilities, associated yard piping, stormwater drainage system, instrumentation and programming (SCADA), and electrical work.
