Rockport: West Rockport Fire Station. Construction of a New Fire Station and Demolition of an Existing Station at 624 West Street, Rockport. The existing building was constructed in 1973 and has various condition issues. Due to these issues, size of the facility, and access issues, the building no longer serves the Town’s needs. The building will remain in service until the new facility is constructed at which time the existing building will be demolished.
