UNIVERSITY PARK BUILDING DEMOLITION Project Summary: The project consists of the demolition of nine (9) individual one story, wood-framed buildings located within the University Park Housing development at the University of Maine. The buildings were constructed in 1960 and are substantially identical in layout, materials and condition. The individual buildings are approximately 2,210sf in footprint and laid out as duplexes with two separate three-bedroom residential dwellings. The Work will include excavation, foundation removal, backfilling, structure demolition, disposal of materials, capping of sewer and storm drain services, temporary erosion control, and other work incidental and normal to the project. Demolition will also include the removal of associated 50sf wooden sheds with concrete foundations. Contractor shall be responsible for lawful disposal of demolition materials and may take credit for salvage value of removed materials.
