Baltimore: Building Demolition. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure the lowest price for the City of Baltimore (City) in accordance with specifications and documents contained herein for acquiring demolition services for all structures in the City that require demolition, for the City’s Department of Housing And Community Development (Baltimore Housing) as further described in the Detailed Specifications section of this solicitation. The work consists of, but is not limited to, demolition of damaged/condemned buildings, removal and hauling of debris; framing; traffic control; installation of support system to stabilize building as specified in the detailed specifications and/or as directed by the project supervisor. Occasionally the City may request removal and disposal of asbestos and other hazardous materials.
