Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority: Demolition of the Woods Hole Terminal The contractor will be required to demolish the Woods Hole Terminal, a fabric canopy structure located behind the terminal, several utility sheds and an information booth. The terminal building is a block wall building, the canopy is Teflon fabric supported by a steel pipe structure. The sheds are generally wood along with a hazardous shed made of CMU blocks. All structures are to be demolished down to the foundations. The remaining foundations will be removed under a separate contract at a later date. Due to the proximity of all the structures located on or near the water there will be mandated regulations that must be strictly adhered to. The demolition includes , located at its Woods Hole Terminal, One Railroad Avenue miscellaneous hazardous materials further described within the IFB documents.
