Revere: Gibson Point Shoreline Project. The project proposed in the ENF includes demolition of existing on-site buildings on a 14-acre site and construction of a six-story residential building with 291 units, associated amenities, and 317 parking spaces. A portion of the shoreline along the northern portion of the site is proposed to be stabilized using vegetated slopes and, in some areas, sheet pile walls. Trees are proposed to be planted throughout the site, and the ENF states that rain-gardens will also be incorporated into the landscaping. The Project Site shoreline will be stabilized through a combination of installing new vegetated slopes, installing some vertical sheet piling, and resetting existing riprap. The purpose of these is to support fisheries habitat and prevent sedimentation and slumping that is currently occurring along the shoreline. Along the sloped shoreline, the upper portions of the Coastal Bank above MHTL will be stabilized with shallower grading and new vegetation. On the eastern side of the shoreline, a failing vertical timber sheeting will be cut down to elevation 2.0 (NAVD88).
