Demolition and restoration is included The project scope is for the abatement and disposal of all asbestos containing materials in barracks buildings 5224. The asbestos is located in ceiling acoustical and finish materials, flooring, caulking, and adhesive materials. The work will include all demolition to access the asbestos materials. This project will include all restoration of the ceiling, wall and flooring finish and new lockers throughout the building. The building is a three-story masonry structure. The buildings are 25,122 square feet containing seventy-two bedrooms, three dayrooms, six bathrooms, one boiler room, one laundry room and associated hallways, janitors rooms, and storage space.
