Framingham: demolition and disposition of the concrete grandstands, and removal of approx. 420 feet of existing concrete curbing, located at Butterworth Park, 261 Grant Street, Framingham. These bleachers were constructed during the 1930’s as part of the WPA program. Seating area is 40’ x 66’ with a storage area of 25’ x 64’ located under the grandstands made of masonry walls. The floor is a poured slab in various thicknesses with a small cellar hole. The building has connections for utilities, including water, sewer, and electric, but all have been removed. The basement will be caved in and buried. The demolition work will consist of the complete removal and disposition of the structure and footings. Bids due 09/03
