Demolition of two Buildings at the Fairhaven Maintenance Facility Steamship Authority's The proposed scope of work requires the services of a contractor who is DCAM certified in Demolition. The contractor will be required to demolish two buildings at our Maintenance Facility at 14 Main Street, Fairhaven, MA. The two buildings are primarily wood structures with some steel in the larger warehouse building. The two structures will be demolished at different times. The warehouse building will be replaced with a new modular building, after the Steamship Authority has moved into the new building the second wooden building onsite will be demolished. This contract will include hazardous abatement for asbestos and lead paint. There are no Filled Sub-Bids on this project. The anticipated construction schedule will began in May 2014 with the second building not to be demolished till December 2014.
