MA Dept of Fish and Game: Upper Flint Pond Dam, Demolition. The Department of Fish and Game, through the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, invites sealed bids for rehabilitation of Upper Flint Pond Dam, including demolition of the existing dam, construction of new spillway training walls, retaining walls, spillway, low-level outlet, and auxiliary spillway; installation of a sheet pile cut-off wall, boat ramp, and boat exclusionary boom; site restoration, and miscellaneous work in the Town of Tyngsborough, MA, Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation (MassDOT) Highway Division in the Dam Construction category to bid on the above project. An award will not be made to a Contractor who is not pre-qualified by MassDOT Highway Division prior to the opening of proposals. Bidders shall also have a minimum of 10 years of experience and shall have successfully completed five dam rehabilitation or repair construction projects within the last 10 years.These projects must include at least one project involving complete spillway replacement and one project involving construction of new or substantially-new outlet works.
