The US Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of West Crossing Campground at Lake Ashtabula, North Dakota. The project consists of rehabilitating approximately 30 campsites, demolishing and restoring approximately 10 campsites, design and construction of a mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, widening aggregate surfaced roads, demolishing an existing sewage dump station, installing a new sewage dump station, upgrading electrical services to campsites, constructing a playground, installing a dual unit prefabricated toilet, replacing culverts, and installing new fire rings and picnic tables. Work includes clearing and grubbing, demolition, excavation, aggregate placement, grading, compaction, landscaping, and electrical. This procurement will be issued under the Competitive 8(a) program. Only those firms recognized by the Small Business Administration in the 8(a) small-business program and participating in that program in the State of North Dakota are eligible to submit a bid. Estimated price in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1 million.
