Louisville: Demolish Cottages Central State Hospital. This project involves the demolition and removal of four (4) existing buildings on the Central State Hospital Campus. These buildings are known as the Flynn Annex and Cottages 101, 102, and 103. These structures are wood-framed roof structures supported by masonry block walls on continuous concrete wall foundations. All building materials shall be demolished and removed from the site. All concrete courtyard slabs and walks within the project area and as designated on the drawings shall be completely removed as well as all stone fill materials. The buildings are currently empty but have all interior walls, doors, and finishes intact as well as electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment. Currently, all utilities are either disconnected or shut off to these structures. Certain utilities shall be fully disconnected and removed from the site as a part of the work. All equipment and similar items shall be demolished and removed with the buildings. The Owner does not require any materials to be salvaged and/or turned over during the project Bids due 08/26
