Building # 38 is a single story, non-inhabitable structure of 796 SF. It is the former sewage lift station building that was replaced in 2012. Building # 45 is a single story, non-inhabitable structure of 1,049 SF. It is a utility building for structure #44, the water reservoir, which has been vacated since 2005. Building # 100 is a single story, non-inhabitable structure of 6,000 SF. It is the former greenhouse and storage shed that has been vacated since 2005. The subject project will clear the site for future structures associated with the facility long term care plan. Project anticipated to last 120 days with a project magnitude between $100,000 and $250,000. Project # 596-12-105, Demolish Buildings 23, 24, and 33. Project will remove the buildings. Building # 23 is a twelve-bay garage of 2,500 SF. Building # 24 is a four-bay garage of 900 SF. Building # 33 is a single-bay garage of 200 SF. The construction firm will also clean and salvage 1,000 bricks from the buildings to turn over to the VA for future use. The bricks will be stacked on pallets containing 500 bricks each and banded.
