Georgetown: Center of Town Building Abatement and Demolition FY 2015-16. The City of Georgetown is seeking proposals for abatement of hazardous materials and demolition of an approximately 9,270 square foot building located at 221 Oregon Street, Georgetown, Kentucky. . The structure previously contained activities relating to that of a community center. In 2012, a storm tore the metal roof from a section of the building resulting in interior water damage. Currently, the City intends to replace this structure with a future building which will house services relating to building and electrical inspection. This project will include abating hazardous materials, demolishing existing structures, removing and disposing of material from the demolition, leveling the site and establishing vegetation.
