Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment and material for various site renovations at the U.S. Coast Guard Support Facilities & Moorings, Leavenworth, KS. The work includes but is not limited to the following: Wharf Area: Parking Lot Pavement. Remove existing asphaltic concrete pavement. Prepare subbase and surface with new Portland cement concrete pavement as shown in the contract drawings. Mooring Cell Concrete Apron and Barrier Posts. Remove existing sunken concrete apron and associated barrier posts adjacent to the two mooring cells. Replace in-kind such that concrete apron is flush with existing mooring cell concrete and new parking lot pavement. Refer to reference drawings. Fencing & Guard Rails. Remove existing chain linked fencing and gate as shown in the contract drawings. Replace with new per provided details. Remove brush and overgrowth along and inside existing fencing to remain. Remove existing guard rail and install new guard rail as shown in the contract drawings. Buoy Pens. Demolish existing of buoy pens. Construct new OSHA-compliant steel framed buoy pens with steel grate catwalks. Mooring Deadmen. Remove two existing mooring deadmen and install two new mooring deadmen in the locations shown on the drawings. Shore Tie Repairs. Replace water and sewer shore tie support block and shore tie mounting back board. Site Utility Work. Perform miscellaneous electrical work as shown on the contract drawings. Contractor will be responsible for relocating and protecting buoys and sinkers stored on site during construction activities. Access Road: Remove existing asphaltic concrete pavement by cold milling. Resurface milled surface with new bituminous pavement. Bids due 08/21
