Great Bend: DEMOLITION OF UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS STRUCTURES; demolition and clean up of the following properties in the City of Great Bend, Kansas: 1401 2nd Street The work involved in the demolition and clean up of the lots includes capping off all utilities located on the property, demolition, removal and proper disposal of two structures, and weeds, brush, and other debris on the lot including all trees. All foundations and basements shall be removed and backfilled and the lot leveled and graded to drain and ready to be mowed. Sewer lines shall be plugged within 5 feet of the property line for all structures with the exception of mobile home lots the sewer shall be left intact and capped in place. It shall be the responsibility of the bidding contractor to contact the respective utility companies to determine cost of removal of utilities on the lot. Contractors shall comply with all asbestos regulations of the State of Kansas including inspection for asbestos and removal if indicated at time of inspection. Contractors shall also be required to file the 10 day demolition notification form ET - ASB10 prior to starting the project. Contractors shall include with this bid the initial asbestos inspection.
