[font=Verdana]This is an unrestricted procurement. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and performing repairs to the damaged components of the John H. Overton Dam. Principle features of the work include mobilization and demobilization; demolition of concrete bullnoses, walkway parapets, walkway bridge seat, and walkway bridge span; construction of new bullnoses, walkway parapets, walkway bridge seat, and walkway bridge span; removal and replacement of damaged skin plate and ribs on tainter gates nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4; replacement of damaged secondary strut bracing on tainter gate no. 3; painting of all repaired structural steel; installation of missing cathodic protection anodes; repair of trunnion girder no. 3; using the Government-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM; and environmental protection. The repair work to the trunnion girder, bullnoses, walkway parapets, and tainter gate shall be done in place. The walkway span replacement may be built adjacent to the structure and lifted into place. The value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
