[font=Verdana]Project consists of demolition of existing doors and frames, wall demolition, ceiling demolition, and removal of existing terrazzo floor. New construction consists of new walls, curved plaster ceiling, doors and frames, wood panels at walls, walk-off mat and new reception desk and signage. Work will include demolition of existing finishes inside of cab, new wood wall panels, ceiling and flooring in the cab, addition of new wall rail in the cab and painting of elevator doors, installation of new controls in cab with new stainless steel wall panel at controls. The completion time for this project is 200 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Liquidated damages are $300.00 per day. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This is negotiated best value procurement. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NIACS) code for this procurement is 236220 with and average gross revenue of $31 million for the last three (3) years. This proposed contract is being solicited as Unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about [/font][font=Verdana]April 6, 2006[/font][font=Verdana]. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOpps and the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. In order to obtain information from FedTeDS, you will first be required to register with CCR. The Central Contractor Registration database is part of the Business Partner Network, an e-gov imitative and will be used to validate vendor identity. Effective [/font][font=Verdana]October 1, 2003[/font][font=Verdana], all government contractors must be registered in CCR prior to receiving an award.
