Richardt Water Treatment Plant. The Base Bid work shall include: Construction of a new 4.32 MGD iron removal water treatment plant including a filter building; concrete detention tank; two 2,000 gpm aerators; backwash tank; three 1,000 gpm horizontal pressure filters; three 1,000 gpm high service pumps; process piping, yard piping and valves; chemical feed equipment; standby generator; HVAC; motor control center and electrical equipment; SCADA system; and site work including paving, storm sewers, grading, seeding, and landscaping. Demolition of the existing Richardt Water Treatment Plant including: demolition and disposal of existing buildings, structures, equipment, materials, piping, pavement, fences and related facilities; and site restoration including: filling, backfilling, grading, seeding, and fencing. Rehabilitation of the existing well houses on the Richardt site including: demolition, cleaning, electrical, HVAC, lighting, coatings, roofs, well pump testing, televising, and water quality testing. Work shall be constructed under a Lump Sum Contract. Mandatory Add Alternate Bid No. 1 shall include the installation of a fourth 1,000 gpm high service pump and a fourth 1,000 gpm horizontal pressure filter vessel, including all related piping, valves, equipment, instruments, materials, supplies, and other items for a complete installation, in addition to the Base Bid. Mandatory Alternate Bid No. 2 shall include abandoning existing Well No. 5 and demolition of the existing Well House in lieu of rehabilitation of Well No. 5 included in the Base Bid. Mandatory Alternate Bid No. 3 shall include unit pricing for Well No. 4 column pipe and shaft and unanticipated subgrade undercut and backfill. Bids due 02/25
