Brownfield Site Remediation Services at Site 2 - 214 West Jefferson Street and Site 9 - 311 West Madison Street. The work to be performed shall include: - tree and brush clearing and removal; - building demolition and removal; - disposal of contaminated soil, debris and concrete, excavation backfill; - removal and disposal of three underground storage tanks; - removal and abandon existing underground utilities; - installation of a gravel covered pedestrian trailway; - installation of new fence; and - installation of an exposure barrier and site restoration. This project consists of the removal of hazardous substances such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), arsenic and lead mixed with contaminated soil, debris and concrete. Therefore, the Contractor will be required to prepare a Health Safety Plan including a provision that all workers completing this portion of the project are trained in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emerge Bids due 02/06
