Demolition and asbestos abatement services needed for the Village's implementation of CDBG IKE Disaster Recovery Grant #08-357014. Pursuant to the flood disasters of 2008 and the subsequent Federal supplemental appropriation for disaster recovery (P.L. 110-329), the Village was awarded $820,500 in CDBG IKE Disaster Recovery funds from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for sanitary and storm sewer system rehabilitation and improvements and for the demolition and clearance of between 12 and 20 blighted residential properties throughout the Village.
