Bartonville : Bowen Building Demolition. The project will involve demolition of the 1890 s building. The building to be demolished is believed to have been built in the 1890 s. According to the current owner, the stone in the building is Bedford Limestone considered by some to have value because of the type and era of material. Bidders may be competing for the demolition of the building just for the value of the stone. It is up to the bidder to verify the type, suitability and value of the stone, and Village makes no warranty in that regard. The project will also involve a retaining wall and concrete sidewalk to be completed after the demolition.
