East Fork Weiser River Bridge Replacement - This contract shall consist of the following work: 1) Remove and dispose of treated timber from old bridge. 2) Install new cast-in-place abutments and cast- in- place wingwalls. 3) Install new precast/prestressed concrete bridge superstructure. The design length is 66 feet. 4) Salvage Riprap from bridge excavation, and if more riprap is needed, obtain by excavating the rock outcrop along road 0.3 miles past the bridge site, or obtain from a commercial source. 5) Set and maintain survey control staking by referencing Government supplied control points. 6) Construct roadway approaches. 7) Install metal beam bridge rail and approach railing. 8) Construct 3" bituminous wear surface on bridge and approaches. Estimated Construction Cost Between $250,000 and $500,000. The East Fork Weiser Road 50172 meets the State Highway 95 between Council and New Meadows. The 50172 road is 9 miles north of Council. The bridge site is 0.7 miles up the East Fork Weiser Road 50172. The intersection of road 50172 and State Highway 95 has a barricade with a ROAD CLOSED sign posted on the barricade. The riprap borrow source is 0.3 miles beyond the bridge site. Bids due 02/22
