Webster: 2023 Demolition Project. The City of Webster City is looking for a respectable contractor for complete demolition of (5) five separate residential properties. Four of those will require minor asbestos abatement. The asbestos testing results are attached to the back of the attached packet. You, (referred to as the primary contractor) will be responsible for obtaining a licensed abatement subcontractor. You will need to provide a copy of their current permit issued by Iowa Workforce Development and current Iowa Contractor Registration Certificate with your bid proposal. You will also need to provide proof of proper disposal of asbestos attached to your completed invoice. Each of the five locations should be bid and invoiced individually. You will be responsible for any expenses associated with the asbestos abatement, so be sure to build that in to your proposal, along with the any permit requirements.
