University of Iowa: (RFP) Flood Recovery Debris Monitoring Professional Services, 109 River Street - Raze Building. Provide Debris Monitoring Professional Services for the razing of one structure at 109 River Street. The Art Building East complex at 120 North Riverside Drive was damaged to a point that a replacement facility was approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the University of Iowa. The site for the new Art Building replacement facility includes the University property at 109 River Street. The project will encompass the monitoring of asbestos containing materials (ACM) and all hazardous wastes, including mercury ballasts and thermostats, freon, etc., generated during the environmental remediation process, as well as the structure demolition itself. Interested and qualified companies are invited to submit a proposal for the project based on the scope of work identified below. Bids due 01/09
