he USDA Forest Service, Eldorado National Forest (hereafter "the Government," "the Forest Service," or "the Eldorado National Forest (NF)"), announces a requirement for demolition and upgrade of an existing campground. Work includes demolition of existing camp units, replacement of waterlines and toilets, construction of camp units, installation of new and existing furnishings, and overlaying campground road and paving spurs. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, equipment and materials to complete the project on schedule. The work area is located at the Gerle Creek Campground, El Dorado County, California. This acquisition is being advertised as a Small Business set-aside under FAR Part 19. The estimated construction range of magnitude is $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. Contract period of performance is 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) Code is 237990. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. Contractors are required to be registered and active with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The solicitation with specifications and wage rates will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website on or about 13 July 2010. No hardcopies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed. To receive the Request for Proposal package and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website.
