Athens-Clarke County: DR MLK JR PKWY BRIDGE REPLACEMENT The work consists of the removal of existing bridge, located on Dr. Martin Luther King Pkwy between Ruth Dr. and Strickland Ave., and replacement with precast bottomless culvert. Roadway construction will include storm drain pipe and inlets, retaining walls, curb and gutter, mill and inlay asphalt, and construction of a multi use trail.
