St. Johns County: SHORES UNIT #1 TANK DEMOLITION. The scope of work for this project shall include furnishing labor, materials, equipment and any other items necessary for the demolition of Shores Unit #1 tank. The work shall consist of demolition and removal of a 70’ diameter Crom water tank, existing 52’ x 32’ concrete block building, retaining walls and ground slab from old control filter, retaining walls and ground slab from old water plant, steel hydropneumatic tank and all miscellaneous above ground structures, piping, valves and fittings. Exception: The existing lift station shall remain in place and in service. All concrete and steel structures shall be removed to ground level. The contractor shall be responsible for hauling and disposal of all demolished materials in a legal and environmentally safe manner. Upon completion of demolition the contractor shall be responsible for site restoration by level grading the affected area.
