Panama City: EAST TERMINAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The intent of this initial East Terminal Contract is to provide for the construction of an approximate 252,000 SF warehouse. In addition to the new warehouse, a 40-foot- wide covered lean-to loading dock will be constructed along with office space, mechanical and electrical leanto facilities to house the operations staff and building systems, and other related improvements. Significant site work, demolition and phasing of construction is required, as summarized below: Phase I: 1. Demolition of various utilities and buildings 2. New approximate 156,000 SF metal building dry bulk storage facility w/new rollup and walk doors 3. New 683 SF office, 705 SF office, and 720 SF electrical/mechani- cal building 4. New concrete foundation/slab improvements to support all new building construction 5. New electrical wiring and lighting in new building construction 6. Incidental storm- water and other site improvements 7. New entry roadway, guard station and supporting appurtenances 8. Four new railroad spurs adjacent to loading dock 9. Water storage facility for fire protection Phase II: 1. Demolition of the existing dockside storage buildings 2. Various site improvements to include all additional roadways, dock apron (asphalt) and stormwater management systems 3. Construction of an additional 96,000 SF dry bulk storage facility (252,000 SF total Phases I and II) LOCATION: The project site is on the former WestRock Paper Mill maritime facility.
