Kissimmee/Poinciana: Demolition of the Kissimmee West WTP and Poinciana WWTP No. 1. This Project consists of demolishing the Kissimmee West Water Treatment Plant and Poinciana Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1. The work includes the complete removal and proper disposal of all above and below grade piping, conduits, valves, fittings, meters and vaults, pumps/motors, tanks, blowers, appurtenances and accessories, walkways, grating, handrails, stairways, reinforced concrete pads and aprons, concrete sidewalks, designated electrical equipment, panels and wires, all facility treatment components and piping, the buildings as designated on the plans, support structures, existing fencing, restoration and all other miscellaneous items as discussed or shown in the plans and/or specifications. Asbestos was detected in the cementitious panels located on the ceiling of the Control Building at the Kissimmee West WTP.
