Jacksonville: (RFQ) TANKS 1, 2, 3 AND 11 DEMOLITION AT NORTHSIDE GENERATING STATION (NGS). JEA is soliciting Bids for the demolition of tanks 1, 2, 3 and 11 located at NORTHSIDE GENERATING STATION (NGS). The Bidder shall furnish all equipment, supervision, labor transportation, tools and expendables to demolish and remove tanks 1, 2, 3 located at the Tank Farm in the southeast corner of NSG, AND remove tank 11 located at the corner of diesel fuel tank containment area west of the intersection of Power Park Rd & Engine House Rd. Bidder will be responsible for the proper disposal of all removed material. (Remediation of soil under the tanks after demolition will be performed by others.) The bidder is also responsible to demolish/remove all concrete pads and rings, pipe support structures, concrete drains and catch basins, pump foundations and all miscellaneous concrete structures associated with these tanks as well as the remaining concrete structures associated with Tank 5. Any cavities created in the demolition process shall be filled with inorganic clean fill dirt or sand and made level to grade. The demolition of the tanks may occur while the pipe removal for these tanks is in process.
