Jacksonville: Liberty Street Bridge Demolition. Two spans of the Liberty Bridge in downtown Jacksonville have partially collapsed. The City of Jacksonville (COJ), will enter into a contract with a qualified contractor to perform partial demolition of two existing spans known as spans 2 & 3 (See Figure 1) so as to move partially collapsed superstructure members into a more stable position.
