Canaveral Port Authority: Terminal No. 3 Marine Works. The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking proposals from qualified marine contractors to construct a berth at North Cargo Berth 3, Port Canaveral Florida. The Work is generally described as follows: At North Cargo Berth 3, demolish the existing open pile pier and adjacent steel sheet pile wall system. Construct a new approximately 882 foot long deep combi-wall bulkhead berth with a pipe pile supported reinforced concrete relieving platform landside of the new berth wall. Project generally includes, cell fenders, bollards, shore-side and waterside mooring dolphins, earthwork and paving, stormwater conveyance system, potable water and force main wastewater utilities, high mast lighting system, fencing, and approximately 105,500 cubic yards of dredging with offshore disposal. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is a two step process. Step 1 is a Qualifications and Short-Listing Proposal process, and Step 2 is a Price Proposal process. Participation in Step 2 will be limited to Step 1 Proposers who were successfully short-listed.
