The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract for the following: REMOVE DECOMMISSIONED SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, BUILDING 60. The work of this contract consists of the demolition of Building 60, which is a decommissioned sewage treatment plant, at the historic site of Floyd Bennett Field in the Jamaica Bay Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area, New York. Mitigation of hazardous materials will be performed at various building locations, as required. All work will be performed under a single contract. LOCATION: Bldg. 60, Floyd Bennett Field, Gateway National Recreation Area, Brooklyn, New York. The NAICS code for this project is 238910 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. Contract duration is 60 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, contracting by Negotiation.
