Pine Bluff Arsenal has a requirement to demolish or dismantle existing White Phosphorus (WP) fill equipment. The contractor shall be responsible for dismantling the entire production line to include scrubber duct work, drain lines, etc. as specified in Technical Specification entitled Demolition of Existing WP Equipment Specification No. TS-2007-ET-07. The equipment is contaminated and the contractor shall follow the Hazardous Material and Waste Letter of Instruction for cutting, sorting, and storing the contaminated material in the Government provided wire baskets. Request for Proposal W911RP-08-R-0030 will issue on or about February 13, 2008 with a closing date on or about March 13, 2008. Requests for the solicitation package must be in writing, via facsimile to 870/540-3730 or via e-mail to pam.burton [at] us.army.mil . Ensure solicitation number W911RP-08-R-0030 is listed in the subject line on all solicitation requests. Companies full mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and email addresses w here available should be listed on all requests. Email request that do not contain the solicitation number in the subject line will be deleted without review. Electronic Proposals are not acceptable; proposals shall be mailed to arrive by the time specified in the solicitation to the address specified in the solicitation. Offerors shall submit all technical questions regarding this solicitation to the Contracting Officer, in writing, no later than 10 days after issuance of this Request for Proposal. Questions may be sent via facsimile or email, again the solicitation number MUST BE referenced in the subject line on any correspondence. Verbal questions will not be addressed.
