The Finch-Henry Job Corps Center is looking for qualified contractors to participate in a bid for the demolition of Arron Henry Hall (Building #6) A wing, an existing one story dormitory of approximately 6,912.00 gross feet. In addition, the work includes the repairs to the lobby wall that become exterior wall with the demolition of Wing "A". Demolition includes but not limited to all footing and foundations, slabs, exterior and interior walls, roof structure, HVAC and Mechanical Systems, etc. The work also includes removal of all debris from the site, disposable of all debris in accordance with all applicable codes and laws, and preparing and grading the entire site for positive draining. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Walk-through on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Finch-Henry Job Corps Center. The meeting will be held in the conference room of Building #1, Administration/Health Services. All interested vendors must attend the meeting and walk-through in order for the bid to be accepted.
