DelDOT: Removal of BR 2-357P Pedestrian Bridge over St. Jones River. The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials. This project involves the removal of the existing pedestrian bridge over the St. Jones River in its entirety. The removal work consists of removing the two-girder steel superstructure with timber decking/rails, timber piers, and stone/concrete foundation. Other work will include placing riprap or other scour counter measures to protect the stream bank from future scour and the removal of the approach pavement that is no longer needed, as well as other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans and as directed by the Engineer. These improvements are located in Kent County
