Remove the steel superstructure and move it a new locations for display and preservation in coordination with the SHPO. The steel will most likely be moved out by barge. Remove the pivot and rest pier, cut off piles below the mudline, remove the timber approach trestles, remove embankment to the current edge of the canal and place rip rap along the edge of the canal.
