Brandywine School District Facilities: Demolition of Burnett Building - Prequalification. Demolition of Burnett Building. Burnett is a 7 story building at the corner of 37th Street and Franklin Place in Wilmington DE. The building has been decommissioned and abated. It is a concrete structure with pre-stressed components. The building stands across a city street from a shopping center / private residences, and on a larger campus that includes the historical 4 story building, P.S DuPont School (circa 1934) Following demolition, the Burnett site will be converted to a ball field.
